![]() ![]() ![]() The story is both creative and chuckle inducing as it boasts themes that can be enjoyed by both kids and their parents. The Lego Batman Movie is filled with cleverly integrated humor, throwback references, and a plethora of characters borrowed from a variety of sources. What a cute, fun, and highly entertaining film. I am pleased to report that much like that film this one is a hoot. ![]() I had high hopes for this one as I really enjoyed The Lego Movie. In the spirit of fun that made The Lego Movie so entertaining, the self-described leading man of that ensemble, Lego Batman, stars in his own big-screen adventure. Maybe his superhero sidekick Robin (Michael Cera) and loyal butler Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) can show him a thing or two. There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman (Will Arnett) wants to save the city from the Joker's (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
